About Roger McKerlie
Business Development Director
Having enjoyed a career which started in publishing sales and which progressed into advertising and marketing agencies in London, Roger sold his 50% stake in his agency Rise Marketing in 2005 and set up a new business. The RTM Group is now the holding company for brands like Sport Business Network, Sports Business Clubs and a sports marketing consultancy Beyond the Stadium.
In 2009 Roger established the Sport Business Network, a business designed to be the bridge between business and sport. In particular the SBN has become the voice of community sport in the UK with the 2,600 members (on and offline) from both business and sport, having a passionate belief in the need to invest into community sport in order to get kids off street corners.
Roger began working on a short term contract with OHES In December 2013 and the relationship has developed and prospered so that he is now our Business Development Director, encompassing sales, marketing and new product development. Under his guidance OHES has focused its new business efforts on establishing key partnerships and targeting large organisations which need many of our services and products. This strategy is paying off as we are winning business from large blue chip organisations in sectors such as infrastructure, construction, house building, utilities and airports.
